Leicester Tigers RUFC – Buckingham Group Contracting
Grant Plastering Ltd have just started works on the new Clubhouse stand project,
Leicester Tigers are redeveloping the west side of the Welford Road stadium. Work is currently underway on the new West Stand which has replaced the old Clubhouse building which dated back to 1909.
The three-storey building will have 3100 seats installed into the stand. It will include club offices, match-day ticket office, the premium Clubhouse season ticket lounge, a Tigers match-day retail shop, stadium big screen, a super box, as well as a concourse area that will house Tigers heritage, food kiosks and public bars.
The new West Stand, when completed, will bring the stadium’s capacity to just under 26,000 and its unique shape will help solidify Welford Road’s reputation as one of the most iconic homes of rugby.
Grant Plastering are supplying and fitting, Suspended Ceilings, partition walls and External monocouche render to the project.
